Russian Obraz Held a Concert at Moscow’s Bolotnaya Square
On November 4 at Moscow’s Bolotnaya Square a concert of right-wing groups Hook Sprava and Kolovrat took place. The open-air in the centre of Moscow organized by Russian Obraz and Soprotivlenie movements gathered about 3000 visitors and became an outstanding event.
The event started with the speech of Russian Obraz coordinator Ilya Goryachev devoted to Ermolov project that was being launched to keep vigilant watch on diasporas’ activity in Russia. After him two young men from Stavropol region and Kabardino-Balkarian Republic spoke how is to live for Russians in Russian national republics.
Hook Sprava appeared on stage first and started to play its emphatic songs, including tracks from its new album. At the entrance any visitor had a chance to help right-wing political prisoners by putting some money in a box, and every granter was presented by organizers with a disc of Hook Sprava new album «Over Eternal Disputes…». Total 300 discs were distributed. «We are Russian Obraz», «Generation 80» and other Hook Sprava songs could be heard from the Tretyakov gallery to the Kremlin that day.
After Hook Sprava performance a lawyer Alexander Vasilyev representing Russian Verdict spoke about politicized art.282 of Russian Criminal Code. Then Ilya (Soprotivlenie movement, Moscow branch) Evgeny Valyaev (Russian Obraz) took the floor. Evgeny Valyaev conveyed regards from Nikolay Kuryanovich from Irkutsk. «Today a very important for Russian right movement, that is an active part of Russian nation, project is being launched — Ermolov project. It is extremely necessary to learn, to control our enemy: ethnic diasporas, leftist anti-fascist groups, clandestine religious extremists and, what I know as a direct witness — the Chinese expansion in Far East and Siberia. Our movement is mature enough and our activity should be based on high-quality analytic and factual data. So let us take part in this project. See you. Glory to Russia!» — Valyaev quoted from Kuryanovich’s letter of support to Ermolov project.
Then group Kolovrat appeared on stage with two sets: acoustic (ballads) and electric (hard).
«For Russian Caucasus!» — sang Kolovrat to the glory of launching of Ermolov project. «General Ermolov, we remember your behest…» — sang Hook Sprava. In general, music of Hook Sprava and Kolovrat was so full of right-patriotic ideas that day, that any section of Ermolov project could be illustrated with a song of the two groups. The organizers mentioned, leftist anti-fascist gangs as an enemy? Kolovrat thunders out its «Anti-anti-fa!». In general, that day musicians sang praises to both general Ermolov, and Dmitry Donskoy, and Ian Stuart, and political prisoners, and freedom, and honour, and loyalty.
