About the site

This is the second edition of RO site. The first one appeared in the end of January 2003, one month before the first issue of «Russian Obraz» magazine, and was a simplified version of the Serbian Obraz web-site.

Already in 2006 the format of the site has become too narrow for RO and the site has been upgraded and changed numerous times but has not been totally remade. Finally in the spring 2008 after RO had celebrated its 5th anniversary (April 5, 2008) we decided to create a new site — now as a site for our own organization. For about half a year RO site has not been online. Unfortunately, we lost the old site in addition to promotion of the domain name. Nevertheless, on October 16, 2008 RO site 2.0 appeared.
